Online Business Entity Filing
What business entity should I file under?

I will own my own business online retail. It will only be online. I thought the sole owner, but I know I have unlimited liability. If that makes a difference, it is possible that I started an association (with a family member serve as a member in silence). LLC sounds good to me, but I did not find enough information to make my decision. Any opinions? Thank you!

State laws vary LLC and states have different cost structures. One example I know that Delaware is the corporate tax costs a flat annual fee "to LLC only to exist and there IIRC initial filing fee. I know there are states that do not charge anything more than the rate of presentation to ensure liability companies limited. As already mentioned, not all states allow single member LLC. If you still can not be the option of filing the LLC to another state and operating in their LLC own and foreign, but they generally must have a registered agent with an address in the state deposit. Certainly there are advantages to operating as an LLC and tax purposes not be different from a file as a sole proprietor. I am sure that the association must file a partnership with the IRS, but I'm not sure. A good resource for decision SBA is usually local or state chamber of commerce website. Usually one or two of them will have the foundations of what forms of business entities are available and help them make that decision.
