Online Business Legal Issues
Want to start a business online independent publishing – legal considerations?

I want to start a publishing company Online – Be how to make my own page, and I checked the domain name to see what is available. Before any company, even if I want to make sure everything is done legally so that it can not be fined or charged back taxes on the road. If I run as an online business (where I run all cases, including payments only through Internet), what type of legal issues I should consider? Do I have to register a DBA? What kind of tax forms should I complete? I charge much as it is, therefore, do not even know how much you should expect to do. I just want to make sure everything is done legally to avoid problems. Any person having experience in running their own online business. If so, any advice? Thank you!

This is one of the gray areas – I think if you start to communicate with local government officials and ask them what you need, start to come with an inexhaustible supply rings for you to jump through. The key is to monitor of income if you can declare, and track your expenses so you can take all legitimate deductions possible when it comes to taxes. (For example, if you spend part of his house as his office may deduct part of your mortgage or rent payment from your taxes.) You simply can function as a person for tax purposes if desired. You do not need a DBA unless you want to give your business a name other than your own name. For a company as it does not need too complicated, just to start and you can get the details on the fly. That said, it would be best to consult a CPA – you can contact one of the freelance writers or some other publishers in your area and ask for a recommendation of an independent CPA specializing in Home-based businesses.
